 It feels like these two teams are on a collision course in the playoffs every single year. Remember that epic 2023 Eastern Conference Finals? The Heat, as an 8-seed, absolutely shocked the world and took down the Celtics in seven games. The image of Derrick White’s tip-in rolling off the rim in Game 7 is probably still burned into every Celtics fan's mind. Then, just this past 2024 playoffs, it was payback time. With Jimmy Butler sidelined, the Celtics took care of business in five games on their way to finally winning the whole thing. The tension is always thick when these two meet.
